Five for Friday is a regular feature here on MatthewHooper.com. Five for Friday features five pieces of content that I have come across on the web throughout the week. It is most likely posts from other blogs that I have found insightful or meaningful. It may also be a quick video or a piece of audio, such as a podcast, that has intrigued me.
- Why getting 10 customers is all that matters
- Are We All Flashpackers Now?
- Overseas Canadian Residents and Tax Returns
- 55 Examples of Beautifully Integrated Social Media Links in Web Design
- Pleco 2.2 Chinese Dictionary uses iPhone camera to translate text in real time
An article about the importance of defining your customers.
A post on how the style of travel has changed for a lot of people.
Some useful tax information for Canadian expats.
I like to find sources of inspiration when it comes to web layouts and design. This is one that caught my eye this week.
As a Canadian living in Taiwan I am really excited for this app that will use the iPhone’s camera to translate text from Chinese to English. It’s pretty amazing. Watch the Pleco demo video even if it’s not something that interests you.
Your Turn
So what have you uncovered this week? Post some of your gems in the comments.
